The use of this site is governed by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT OF SALE set forth below. Your use of this site or purchase from Gift Xpress indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Gift Xpress reserves the right to make changes to this web site and these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.

Gift Xpress is the service provider; it is also referred to as "us" and "we".

Customer is the person or organisation who purchases or seeks services from Gift Xpress; it is also referred to as "you".

PAYMENT

For on-line orders, accepted payments include credit card (Visa/ Mastercard/American Express ONLY), direct debit and cheque.  If you select to pay by direct debit or cheque, please print out and fax the checkout form, at the completion of your order, to Gift Xpress on (07) 4872 5660 or post to Gift Xpress, PO Box 5172 Gladstone Q 4680.

The title of the goods supplied does not pass to the customer from Gift Xpress until the full amount is paid.

The full terms and conditions regarding delivery can be veiwed in the Delivery Terms section of our website.  Please take the time to read them carefully to avoid dissapointment.

RETURN AND REFUND

At Gift Xpress, we strive to provide our customers the best in quality and presentation.  If you feel your order has not been fulfilled correctly or was not what you expected, Gift Xpress will investigate the circumstances and a refund may be offered.  Any incorrect, missing or damaged or faulty items received must be reported to Gift Xpress within 48 hours of you or the recipient receiving the delivery.  If a refund is being issued, goods must be returned within 10 days (if applicable) and include all the original packaging. Delivery and handling cost are not refundable.

Gift Xpress owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been despatched in error.

DAMAGED GOODS AND CLAIMS

At Gift Xpress, we carefully inspect all goods before they are packed.  Gift Xpress will not be held responsible for damage to perishable goods occurring during transit outside the Gladstone area.  We will advise the customer before sending the product if we feel the weather and destination may effect any of the products.  It is then at the customer's descretion to decide weather to continue with the order and we accept no liability for the outcome.

At Gift Xpress, we take great care when packaging our gifts to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.  Although we use bubble wrap and other packaging to safeguard against breakages, occasionally, fragile items can be damaged on their journey.  Please notify us immediately upon opening the parcel of any breakages or damage caused in transit.  We may be able to claim the goods on insurance and provide a replacement.

All claims are voided if a returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, misinstalled, modified, tampered, abused, physically damaged.
Gift Xpress is not responsible for any parcel missing in transit, on its return back to Gift Xpress.

DISCLAIMER

  • Due to changing market forces and other extenuating circumstances that affect product availability and price stability, we reserve the right to withdraw any product we advertise and change prices without notice.
  • If Gift Xpress is unable to supply a particular product because it is unavailable or out of stock, we reserve the right to replace that product with something similar.  We guarantee to substitute an alternative product of equal or greater value. 
  • Gift Xpress is happy to cancel any order placed with 48 hours notice prior to delivery.  Refunds or cancellations past this point are at the owner's descretion and depends on the validity of the reason. 
  • Information contained throughout the web pages and in our database is believed to be accurate and reliable at the time of publishing.
    There may be misprints, human errors, and omissions. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products, and specifications without notice.

PURCHASE OF LIQUOR

Gift Xpress is authorised to sell liquor in accordance with it's Liquor Licence, (License No. 86486) registered in Queensland. It is an offence to sell liquor to persons under the age of eighteen (18) years. We reserve the right to make further enquiries as to the age of any purchaser of liquor. 

Please Note: If ordering a gift hamper containing alcohol, the person signing for, and/or receiving the gift must be eighteen (18) years of age.  When agreeing to the terms and conditions upon placing your order, you are also agreeing to adhere to this strict guideline.
